CEC regards safety as one of its highest priorities. We are committed to working with our clients and workforce to ensure the highest standard of safety is maintained on a day to day basis.
CEC takes very seriously its Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) responsibility for its employees, sub-contractors and clients. To this end the company operates an OHS system specifically designed for the electrical contracting business.
As part of this system CEC has put in place the following OHS tiers to comply with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1984, and the Occupational Safety & Health Regulations 1996:
The company operates a two-tier Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for the work it undertakes:
- The first tier is a JHA used for small installation and service work, and is completed for each job undertaken.
- For large contracts a Safety Management Plan will be written to meet client requirements.
